Mastering the Art of Code to Shape Infinite Innovations and Endless Solutions
Emad Issawi, an ambitious fifth-year student nearing the end of the master's degree journey in Computer Science and Engineering at Lund University. I will be taking the exam in June 2024. I am open, positive, friendly, and skilled at building relationships with people. I am always eager to learn new things and excel at finding the best solutions to difficulties. I demonstrate significant commitment to my work and am unafraid of hard work and new challenges. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to quickly learn about new technologies in record time.
I am equally comfortable working independently and collaborating within a team. My self-motivation enables me to deliver excellent results when doing individual projects, while my effective communication and teamwork skills make me an asset when collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared projects.
Throughout my educational journey, I diligently honed my coding skills, encompassing algorithm and data structure comprehension, object-oriented programming principles, and a problem-solving mindset. This foundational knowledge was further solidified through active engagement in hands-on experiences, such as working on my bachelor's thesis project and pursuing personal projects.

Facial Match Program
Bachelor's Degree Thesis in Computer Science and Engineering
• Given an NFC Scanner from 365ID company which scans id card, a Windows application built in C#.Net is developed. The app has a face recognition ability to verify if the ID cardholder is the same person as the person in the id card's face picture.
• This project allowed me to learn C# .NET Framework and practice with some face recognition libraries. -
Tasks Manager Application
Personal project
• An application built in Android Java that helps the user manage daily/monthly tasks and get notified of any unfinished tasks case. The app allows the user to note and save appointments with specific dates.
• This project allowed me to learn mobile application development, testing, debugging, and practice with some algorithms and object-oriented principles. -
Personal Portfolio Website
Personal project
• By learning web development in my free time, I created my own portfolio website.
• This project allowed me to learn and practice HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as design principles and user experience considerations. -
Carpooling Web Application
Academic project
• I worked within an Agile Scrum team of 16, This application was designed to facilitate more sustainable travel options by connecting users looking to share rides.
• This project allowed me to practice Agile scrum methodology along with web-development and Git. Moreover, it enhanced my teamwork and communication skills in a large team development project. -
Racing Clock Application
Academic project
• A real-time racing clock application using Agile Extreme Programming (XP) methodology. The project was organized into teams, each consisting of two members, and the composition of these teams was constantly changing.
• This project allowed me to practice Agile XP methodology along with back-end developing. Moreover, it enhanced my teamwork and communication skills in pair-programming in a development project.
